Housing sleeve for a floor mounted a/c blower

The a/c jacket was the indirect result of an age old problem concerning air conditioning in the tropics: ducted air handling is always svelte, but its issues of servicing ease are a constant plague. Wall mounted units, being exposed, are easier to maintain, but are, well, aesthetically dubious.

And that is even before the handprints of service men on ladders comes into play.

That leaves us with the floor mounted a/c unit; easiest to clean and service and while not a hinderance to hung artwork the way wall units are, still suffer from a state of being in aesthetic limbo.

The a/c jacket was designed as a retrofit for floor mounted air conditioning units. It does as its name suggests, formal wear for an otherwise dreary equipment of tropical living.
