wallpantry
stainless steel.
The stainless steel wall pantry
was designed around the use
of wire shelving as the means
to reduce the amount of dust
that inevitably collects on the
horizontal surfaces of storage
areas.
The shelves and carcass of the
cabinet were held away from
their mounting wall fof venting
and a pair of stainless steel
sliding doors were designed for
the carcass: the doors found
asymmetrical configuration
with an outer panel mounted
over an inner one in the way
of a sleeve. Rollers mounted in
pairs to the top edges of each
door panel glide over offset
steel runners set onto the
pantry roof. Hidden guides and
a contiguous machined finish
delivered the lines and clinical
aesthetics in this expriment
of the domestic industrial.
